Today is my dear, sweet Lindsay's birthday. I am SO blessed to have such an awesome best friend! She is really like a sister to me. I think that Heavenly Father has placed specific people in my life, whom I will be close to forever. No matter distance or time between us, I know that these people will always be in my heart. Lindsay is one of those people, and I thank Heavenly Father for bringing us together when he did, because I desperately needed her spirit in my life (and still do).
We have so many awesome memories, and we make new ones all the time! It is awesome to know that someone cherishes your friendship as much as you cherish theirs!
Some of our awesome memories include:
1.Walking around Monmouth late at night during an ice storm. We grabbed a hold of the back bumper of our friend, Jeremy's car, and got him to drive sorta slowly as we held on (15 mph really seems fast when youre hanging on to the outside of the car), and slid across the ice on our feet. It was super fun!
2. Puddle jumping in the rain all day, and getting BEYOND soaking wet.
3. Our maaaaaany trips to the humane society, to play with animals (and sometimes, adopt one).
4. Buying and decorating our first Christmas tree together, then decorating the entire apartment in snowflakes that hung from the ceiling.
5. Turning the kitchen floor into a slip-n-slide. Then playing on said slip-n-slide in our undies.
6. Singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow together
7. Road trips to the coast, to UT, to wherever we felt like going...
8. Dressing up like super heroes at like, 3am, then going to our friends apartments and taking pictures of ourselves in front of their front doors. Also taking pictures of ourselves in our friends trees, shrubs, etc. Oh, and also taking pictures of ourselves in front of the places we worked. And ALSO taking pictures of ourselves in Wal-Mart (well, a nice fellow who worked their, named Sean took the pictures).
9. Playing games of hide-n-seek in Wal-Mart (we lived really close to a Wal-Mart...).
10. Running into the woods in the middle of the night, in our underwear, to try and find her parents dog (the dog was chasing a racoon).
There are so many more memories! Those are just some of the highlights. I love this girl! She is the most genuine human being. She is caring and sweet and talented!!! SO TALENTED!!!! No one can sing as beautifully as my Lindsay! And everyone loves Lindsay. Even my sweet Penny, who lives and breaths to please me, loves Lindsay way more! Lindsay is always willing to let me practice being a photographer on her :) She's such a good sport! She is hands down one of the funniest people on the planet! She is awesome!
Lindsay always goes out of her way to build me up when she knows I'm down. She sends me text messages, or facebook messages, or calls whenever she can, just to say "I love you bestie!". She might not even realize how much that means to me.
Lindsay, your friendship means the world to me!

We dont really have any recent pictures of the two of us, although we even spent a good 3 weeks of the summer together house sitting for her parents in Coos Bay (where the half nekkid in the woods, looking for the dog, memory was created). Next time we get together, I'll have to insist that we take a friendship pic! Maybe in super-hero costumes? ha!
